Sauteed shiitake mushrooms

  • Dried or freshly sliced shiitake mushrooms
  • Olive oil ( 2tbsp)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Optional:
  • Balsamic vinegar, soya sauce or oyster sauce
  1. Dried Shiitake or freshly sliced Shiitake
  2. Heat 2 tbsp of Olive Oil in pan
  3. Add Shiitake and cook and toss occasionally for about 7-10 minutes over medium heat
  4. It must be tender and golden brown
  5. When ready you can season with salt and pepper and fry it for another 30 seconds
  6. If you do not use salt, you can also mix Shiitake with balsamic vinegar, soya sauce or oyster sauce for a different taste
