Ingredients
  • Shiitake Mushroom (choose your amount)
  • Milk or lukewarm water (must cover mushrooms)
Instructions
  1. Cover Shiitake in lukewarm water or milk and it will reconstitute to normal size
  2. Soak for 30 minutes
  3. The Shiitake will return to normal size
  4. Strain the liquid. This can be used in soups or stock – smoky flavour
  5. Dry Shiitakes with paper towel
  6. Your Shiitake can now be used as you use any mushroom
